Y.O.U.T.H. was privileged to collaborate with the City of Laredo in supporting The Wall That Heals, a profoundly moving volunteer event dedicated to honoring the memory of our nation’s fallen veterans. This traveling memorial, a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., features a never-ending wall etched with the names of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Our members assisted in ensuring the event ran smoothly, helping to create a respectful and welcoming space for reflection, remembrance, and community engagement. It was a humbling experience to be part of an event that not only pays tribute to those who served but also educates and unites the community in gratitude. 🤍🕊️

This past weekend, Y.O.U.T.H. had the honor of volunteering at the Washington’s Birthday Celebration/Jalapeño Festival. Our team assisted with organizing and ensuring the event ran efficiently. We’re proud to support events that celebrate tradition and bring our community together. 🌶️🎉

YOUTH had the opportunity to to participate in Blue Santa this year, which was made possible by the Laredo Police Department. Along LPD YOUTH was able to pass out over 3,000 toys to over 600 families. This notion was not only able to spread joy to the children but to our volunteers during this holiday season! Thank you to everyone who came and helped. 💙🎁🎅
